When did your golden comets start to lay?

Hello chicken friends!
I know golden comets can lay pretty early but my mom said hers started to lay at 14 weeks!! Golden comets seem to be a very popular chicken and I want to know when your golden comets started to lay...

We had one that never laid an egg due to a reproductive issue. She lived for 14 months until EYP finally took her down. Gorgeous bird, friendly, chatty, good natured, sweet personality, liked to be near people. Love the Comet's personalities.
I would expect them to start laying by 20 weeks for sure.

I'm sorry to hear about your golden comet. One of my girls is kinda stand off-ish and the other is the low lady on the totem pole, but so sweet

20 weeks for my Golden Comet. She laid the most perfect eggs and rarely skipped a day!

My girl is starting to get some pink to her face! 13 weeks.... Some day my little ladies might give me eggs.

13 weeks is too young yet - 5-6 months for a production breed has been our experience with Comets and Queens. It seems once they start squatting, eggs are imminent within a couple of days.

Oh she's not squatting at all. I'm hopeful for sometime in August. But seeing... Progress (can't think of a better word lol) towards eggs is so exciting
