When do bantams start laying?

My bantams are about ten weeks and I want to know when I should start keeping an eye out for eggs. These are my first bantams, and I didn't monitor my first flock of full sized chickens laying start since I didn't think I'd ever get a second flock

What breed of bantam do you have? There are a wide variety of breeds and each will have a different rate of maturity, just as large fowl breeds do.

Mine start laying somewhere between five and seven months of age; try to be patient! Once they start, they may be pretty good layers, and little eggs taste just fine. Mary
