Buttons take 16 days stop turning at 13 days humidity at 60-65%

Y'all may laugh at me - or swear at my ignorance - but when I saw the subject line, I immediately thought of my broody hen setting on her 3 eggs and a golf ball. I thought, wow, must be some bantam breed, to have a hen setting on a BUTTON; I thought the OP was making a joke. After all, another thread listed a silkie who was "brooding" a small Tupperware container.

So, forgive me for side-tracking the thread. The subject line lured me in, and then I had to say why.

I read somewhere about day 20 in an incubator for buttons, I do not know about jumbo quail.
