When do chickens stop growing?

My husband asked me this morning when the birds will stop growing/be at full adult size. I wasn’t really sure so of course I jumped on BYC!
I’m sure this varies by breed, we have EE. 6 months seems to be the general consensus I can find but this was for a few other breeds. What y’all think?

Yeah, 6 months is about full size, they can fill out more tho in the next year.

breed dependent - some grow more slowly. However, many of the common breeds are full size by 6-9 months old. We have Black Jersey Giants, said to take 18 months to fully grow - they grow their frame, then add bulk/muscle. There are a few other breeds similar to this, but they are the exception, rather than the norm.
