When do Cochins usually start laying?

I have a 5 month old white cochin, sweet girl but no eggs

My Mille Fleur bantam Cochins are around 34wks (8 1/2 months) and not a single egg has been laid. I haven't even seen an egg squat. Once my one cockerel's 4wk quarantine is up, he's going in with them. Maybe he'll be more active and make them hormonal and start. All I know is that I have a list of people wanting hatching eggs from them!
