When do Easter Eggers start laying?

i got mine as eggs (1 dozen) put them under a broody silky and got 5 to hatch, 4 pullets (2 gold 2 gold laced browns and 1 non bearded gold rooster) 1gold lays green, 1gold lays pinky brown, 2 gold laced browns lay 0 eggs) they are 6 months old today, hopefully come spring all 4 will lay.

I have three hatched May 20 that I got from local breeder. One has layed one precious tiny green egg a week ago, and that is it. I don't know why she hasn't laid again. Still waiting on the other two although they are both red faced and seem to be checking out the nest pretty regular. I know it will be worth the wait when they are laying regular but it sure has seemed like a couple of years wait instead of months..lol ..gl to all eagerly waiting.

My birds are 26 weeks. My 2 Barred Rocks started laying 2 weeks apart in the last 5 weeks or so. My 2 EE's have not layed nor my Welsummer. The Roo we have (mistake as we wanted 2 Welsummer females and got 1 of each) has been seen mating with the EE's so I was hoping he knew something we didn't....but now I'm starting to think he's just a typical male. ;) hahaha We've gotten some weird days with soft shell eggs...one day 2 of those plus one good egg. They are all the same light beige, so I'm thinking they were all from the BR's. I would think a soft shell coming from an EE would be blue/green? Is there any chance the EE's would lay normal beige eggs? One of my BR's lays every day. The other will lay everyday for a few days, then skip 2 and then I'll find the soft eggs under the roost and then it will get back on track. I know they are young, so not getting too worried. But, I can sympathize! We totally are waiting for our non-traditional eggs!!! Can't wait for the day we check the box and find them! I also started putting LED solar party lights in their coop. Usually, they don't stay lit all night, but afew mornings I noticed this set still glowing before the sun came up. WHooops....does too much light affect them? These things aren't real bright, so I'm hoping it is enough light to help!

GUESS WHAT I GOT TODAY!!!! Our first green egg!!!! Now we have 3 layers! 2 BR's and 1 EE!!!! The EE is now 27 weeks. We still have 1 EE and 1 Welsummer to go!

I have three ..one laid her first egg at 24 wks, but she hasn't laid again, the second one laid at 25 wks and she has laid 2 this week, and the third one is nowhere ready yet.

Congrats to you all, and now I can finally congrat myself... Got my first EE ever!!!! She checked out the box for two days before laying her first at 24 Weeks 5 days and another the very next day (today) so I'm amped for a week of sky blue eggs until her sisters start laying! SOOOOO EGGCITED!!!!!! IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!!

My two (from Ideal Poultry) are 22 weeks and not yet laying. They don't have a lot of red in their combs and squat? No, they still run when I try to touch them. So, not counting any EE eggs before they are laid.

My Faverolles (well, at least one, can't really tell) started at 20 1/2 weeks with one egg on a Friday, then waited 3 days, then another 4 days. The Anconas started the past Monday, one day shy of 22 weeks. So far this week, 1 Sunday, 2 Monday, 3 Tuesday, 2 Wednesday. Today? Don't know yet.

I have several EE's that I hatched on March 21st, and two of them just started laying last week. I have so many chickens that I didn't know which ones were laying and which ones were not. I thought they all were because I am getting a lot of darker Marans colored eggs. They are a cross between a pure Ameraucana and Wheaten Marans. This pic shows the two different speckled green eggs:

You can see the Olive green eggs, those are what I was getting before the blue speckled eggs started showing up last week.
