When do I have fertilized eggs?

If I put my breeders (1 boy and 4 girls) together today, when will I get fertilized eggs? And after I collect the eggs, when can I candle them to see whether they are fertilized or not before putting them into the incubator?

I would wait a couple of weeks. You're not going to be able to tell by candling if they're fertile or not until they've been incubating for 4-5 days.
