When do i let my pullets out and into the run ?

Welcome and good luck with your new babies! I am in the process of introducing my two new EEs to the flock. They are so skittish, that they freak out when the others come near. I think I waited too long. They think I am Mommy, and fly on my head when the others come near. It's hard to do barn work with two chickens on your head.

from North MS!!! Def quarantine first, I always try and wait until they are close in size before introducing as well. Trick that has worked for me, is putting the new hens in the coop at night while the others are roosting, when they wake up it's kinda like they were always there. Your still going to have some pecking don't get me wrong, but it seems to help. Good luck!!!

I did the night thing in the coop too. It really is great at night, but then morning comes along and squawk city. It takes time.
