When do I let new chicks and hen back into the flock?

I have a small flock of chickens, being 5 young RIR hens and a rooster. One hen went broody and hatched 6 chicks and 5 have lived. I separated the hen and chicks from the rest of the flock 4 weeks ago, 3 weeks before the chicks hatched. All I did was split the coop in half with 4 foot chicken wire where each group can see and really touch one another. There never seems to be any problems. May question is when could I take the fence down and let the two groups together with no worry about the older chickens hurting the young ones. The chicks are now 11 days old. Thanks for any help. I would not let the chicks in there until they are at LEAST half the size of the other hens. As far as the mama hen goes, whenever you think the chicks are ok on their own, you can put her back with the rest. That is what I do anyway and it has always worked for me.
