Daylight period would affect breeding activity. Longer day light period actually can increase testosterone levels and breeding activity in fowl. Temperature has far less impact.

Interesting! But because we’re so close to the equator our daylight doesn’t really fluctuate more than an hour or two year round...wonder if that’s enough to trigger a breeding season?

I wonder also. Maybe it will be year round but not as urgent.
