When do Jersey Giants start to lay eggs

My Jersey Giant has just stated laying in the past 1-2 weeks. She is about 5 months old. The eggs are really small, though. They are about 3/4 the size of a regular egg.

I have the exact same thing going on with my Jerseys. Wondering if it’s just because they’re so young.
