When Do Leghorns Start Laying?

That's hard to answer, you'll just have to wait until they are laying consistently then see how many you are getting per week. Some hens lay better and all sorts of conditions affect that like

Diet
Weather
Stress
New Birds
Predators
Lice and Mites

Depending on what your flock is experiencing you may get more or less eggs. I keep a record of the color and size of the eggs I am getting, that way I have an idea if someone is not laying or something is wrong.

A good layer will lay every 26 hours, meaning almost everyday, and it will get later and later, and then she skips one day.

So, while people can give you an estimate, the only real way to know is to learn about your flock.

They do have rest times. The whiter their legs are the longer they have been laying.
