When do muscovies start to first lay

Yeah mine do go outside but its starts getting dark here at like 4pm and it's been very cold with heavy rain so they just stay in their shed with the door open but they don't want to go out in it.

i can hardly get mine to come in out of it- even if it’s freezing!

I don't think it's a muscovy thing because i got a mallard with them that does the same but yeah mine are weird. I tried to put them out with rain and they just run back in, so I gave up trying

My Muscovy don't mind light rain but if it's pouring they look like lawn statues they don't like heavy rain at all. My other ducks are out playing in the mud

around here we joke about how the chickens hate rain, the ducks love it, and the geese couldn’t care less. my geese just act the same as always like they don’t even notice it lol

They are silly little creatures at times I swear but they are adorable. Can't actually imagine a day without them anymore, i get happy just seeing them and they only get happy when there's food

Yes, we offer room service and they expect it. I am the same it's wonderful to go out every day and be with these critters.
