Well I don't know if that particular chicken is laying eggs or not. I have 10 (or maybe 9) hens and get anywhere from 3-7 eggs a day. I have a couple of older hens so didn't think never getting 10 eggs would be abnormal. And yes I've heard about a hen acting like a rooster when there is no rooster but didn't think it would extend to growing spurs LOL!!
