When do roosters start to crow?

    Bianco is 16 weeks and so far, nuthin'. Perhaps this is a good sign, LOL, and I'll get my wish that he's undersexed??

    I believe the correct answer is "whenever it is least convenient for you or most disruptive". [​IMG] Seriously, though, it totally depends on the individual roo. Perhaps you will get lucky and he will be a quiet one when he does start. Me, not so much. Never knew so much noise could come from a little Silkie! [​IMG]

    Mine just started to crow at 23 wks. I was hoping he didnt have a voice lol Nope. He now crows but luckily not to much so I put him in the garage in the early morning, turn on the light, then he stops and goes outside by 9am

    Mine started practicing when they were just a few weeks old. They were very funny..

    I don't mind if he crows--I live in the boonies and already listen to Clarice crow pretty often. [​IMG] Just wondering!

    Some can be very late. I had one that began crowing at 8 months old.
