When do rosecomb bantams start laying?

Our birds are so small even at 7 weeks, but we have a male and female. Just wondering when hen will lay and when they will breed?

Bantams aren't much different than large fowl. 6-8 mos depending on the breed. The rooster may try his advances sooner but she won't be receptive to him until she's ready to lay.

Most chickens start laying around 6 months (24 weeks), regardless of whether they're bantam or full size
