When do they get saddle feathers?

At about what age do saddle feathers start coming in for roos?

True saddle feathers come in around 2-3 months of age. A rooster can be sexed by color or comb before then though.

Australorps, having single combs, are sexable by their comb size and redness. You should be able to see males vs females at 4-5 weeks old.
