When do they go from being "chicks" to "pullets?"

Just wondering when the terminology changes? Is there a set week they are considered to be pullets?

They're pullets right from the start if they've been determined to be female.

Pullets are female chickens under one year of age. Hens are female chickens one year old or older. Cockerels are male chickens under one year of age; roosters are a year or older.

However, most folks consider pullets "hens" as soon as they are laying. And "roo" is easier to type than cockerel, so that gets used for even baby male chickens.
