When do they start laying again?

I’m in southern Indiana. My ducks slowed down significantly laying eggs for the winter. Now that days are slowly getting longer again, when should I expect to see the eggs speed up again?

That is a hard question to answer. Everyone seems to experience something different. A few of my ducks have already started to lay eggs more consistently, while others probably won't pick up for another month or two. It also partly has to do with breed as well.

My runners, which are suppose to be a high laying breed haven't started laying again yet. But my khaki Campbell, Muscovy, and Pekin are all laying right now. Muscovy are more likely to take off time from laying compared to other breeds, but mine stopped laying more in fall.

But I would imagine by the end of March you should have high numbers again. But it is hard to say for sure.
