Gobble? At what age?

They start to gobbling around 4 months or so, depending on the breeds. Smaller breed mature faster then larger breeds.

My Midget Whites hatched April 30th and I just took this pic yesterday. I just heard him gobble this morning for the first time when my horse bucked and kicked the pen.

My BR's are 9 1/2 wks old. I have heard the occasional gobble for a couple of weeks. Today, I noticed they gobble when something or someone frightens them. They may make good "watchdogs."
