My lone poult is 4 or 5 weeks old, it is about 90 degrees out. Can I shut off its light for the day? When can I turn the lamp off?

Yes, it is by it's self. I had 4 eggs, 3/4 hatched. 2/3 of the poults had complications and died. This was the only "normal" one.

It would do alot better with a buddy or two

I do have 11 chicks outside, 9, 8, and 7 weeks old. They like to play a little rough though, I know In need a friend or a partner, but my chicks aren't to nice to new comers. I need to find some more poults about his/her age.
