When do we stop checking for pasty butt?

We have a half dozen chicks who are about a week old. They have not had any vent issues and I'm wondering how much longer that is a concern. Thanks.

Hi, welcome to our flock!

If they are active, drinking lots of water and growing and pooping well, it's time to stop worrying! Just keep an eye out for another week. After that, they should be just fine.

Thanks! They seem to be doing well. We actually only got them yesterday, so we're incredibly new at this.
