I find it very amusing what some call "minimum" space. Or they HAVE to have this or that.... you will do great.dont stress or overthink the birds. I do not agree with all the oh you need a minimum of space or HAVE TO HAVE GRIT (I have never used it and never have needed it. Do wild birds have grit fed to them? the birds figure it out and will do just fine. I have 10 chicks and 4 ducks all living in the same coop. And ALOT say NNOO you cant do that!!!...... they all love each other and look out for each other. So my personal experience is listen and research. Then do what you feel is best. So many chicken owners on here and everyone will do something a different way. Dont get overwhelmed
