When do you switch your entire flock to lay ration?

I have a mixed age flock of 23 birds. Ten have been laying strongly for quite some time. Six are just starting to lay, and 6 are a few weeks off from laying. Since I combined all of the birds together a couple of months ago, I've been feeding the entire flock chick starter and providing supplemental calcium through oyster shell for the bigger birds that were laying at the time. Now that a good part of the birds are coming into lay, I'm thinking it's time to switch the entire flock over the lay ration. Anyone else agree with me?

When I have mixed ages like you do, I fill one feeder with grower and one feeder with egg crumble. When all the birds are old enough to lay, I quit feeding the starter.
