When does a roo act like a roo?

The chicks have been indoors 2 days now and are becoing friendly, but there is a chick who is much bigger then the rest, already has tail feathers and it acts protective of everyone and kind of aggressive, the others will huddle behind it and it will peck at people sticking their fingers through the door and will flap and cheep aggessively. Could it be a roo? Their estimated age is 2 weeks...
 
I don't think so. According to the new "Chickens" magazine page 9, "a hen may assume the duties of the cock in flocks without a rooster . She will stop laying and begin crowing" . It doesn't say anything about mating.
