When does curled toe paralysis become permanent?

I would just use the B complex vitamins. The riboflavin amount does not need to be too high to repair the deficiency. The feed you are using is fine.

I have them all on Purina Layena crumbles(medicated)
I hatched all of them myself, and vaccinated them all for Mereks(yes, I realize the vaccine is not a guarantee)
This chick developed this around 7 weeks. She/he was fine till I noticed she was just favoring its leg. I thought " oh, maby someone landed wrong after jumping down from a roost".
Here is a video before I brought her/him to the house with a couple of buddies:
You chick is a pretty baby! :love

Is it a Silkie mix?

That video does not look like what I typically see with Marek's. But if you didn't keep them quarantined after you vaccinated it might not have had time to fully develop.

Booty's will not work at this stage. That is for newly hatched chicks. That sling I posted might helps some though.

Do you feed treats aside from the starter? The medicated feed works by blocking Thiamine, which is a B vitamin... I wonder if that is having any impact.

:fl

Hmm, good question. Yes, I had them at my home till they were 6 weeks old. They had no contact with the adult hens for that time.

Yes I am guilty of feeding treats! Scratch grain sometimes, bread a few times, mostly mealworms.

No it's a OE mix. I bought the eggs off eBay. The comb has me curious what breed its mixed with.

The medicated feed might be a problem with thiamine, but not riboflavin. I used medicated feed in my first chicks for 5 months, and they never had a problem. The amount of amprollium in medicated feed is pretty small to really cause thiamine deficiency. I stopped using it in my newer chicks, and have never had coccidiosis in my flock. But I always expose the baby chicks to a lump of sod every few days to help them build immunity to coccidia in the soil.

Crested... maybe cream legbar. Feathered legs... maybe Marans. :pop

Hard to say... these days people mix any blue and brown egger and call their first generation crosses Olive eggers. Hope the chick recovers and then makes you some beautiful eggs!
That's what I was thinking also. Seems the feathered feet from marans side and cl with that head. The comb has me stumped though. Take a closer look at it.

Your right. Hmm, I thought it would be a cross with a marans and Legbar
Also I am concerned because there is no progress as far as the chick getting better
The toes have not improved.
I am a little worried about the sling. I am afraid she/he will panic while her buddies are able to walk around just fine.
