Okay another really dumb question. When do I start counting to hatch from day eggs were collected from hen or from the day the eggs were placed in the bator? Thank you

Another 'not dumb Q'...
When you set your eggs, mark it on a calender. Set in the bator on Mon, hatch on Mon --- 3 weeks later.
That would make Mon 'Day 1'.

Thanks Lisa that is what I thought. Now I am starting to see why some you only set eggs on certain days. Then on the 18th day you move them right???? Thanks again for your help.

Cindy, On the 18th day you can move them to a hatcher that does not have a turner and that has humidity raised up to around 70%. If you don't have a seperate hatcher then you just take out the turner in the incubator and raise the humidity in the incubator. Not sure how you are set up to hatch your eggs so I just thought I would throw that out there.
