When does "Pecking Order"start?

WOW!!! I spend a lot time watching my chickens (they spent 8 weeks in my spare bathroom) both brooder and coop/run. They seem to be pretty cool with each other. No aggression, no feather shaking. Maybe they are just too young!!

Or they already have it settled and don't need to discuss the matter any more.

By her lights, my boss bird wasn't being aggressive. She was just trying to put the six foot tall featherless chicken in his place in the pecking order, and if that featherless chicken hadn't got so far above his station as to think he had any business touching her then she wouldn't have had to threaten to peck him then carry out the threat. In the end all it got her was picked up, carried around, and petted.
