When does 'peep' turn to 'bok'?

My peepers are turning into cluckers as we speak. They just reached three weeks. They tend to cluck/peep intermittedly as they scratch. Its about 90% peep, 10% cluck.

My Australorp chicks will be 5 weeks old tomorrow, and they still peep like they are a day old. They are fully feathered and large, so the tiny "peep" sounds really funny coming from their beaks.
