When does rooster accepts new members into his flock?

I have a rooster who manages his two (used to be 4) golden comet hens quite nicely. He watches out for them when free ranging, herding them etc when needed. I have added 6 young girls to the flock, and they have integrated well into the flock with minimal pecking order drama. However, the 6 stay together and Walter basically ignores them. Will he pull them in as part of his harem when they get old enough to breed? The youngsters are about 15 weeks old.

I believe he will Roosters are not very discriminatory .. they will usually hop on any hen in their path ..

You'll likely have your answer in about three weeks as those younger birds mature. My guess is that he'll be quite happy to oblige.
