When does the peeping turn to clucking?

I have the same question. My one roo (who is to be rehomes soon) made his first, garbled attempt at a crow on Saturday, immediately followed by a frightened day-old's PEEP. Hilarious.

My girls have developed a repertoire of sounds, but I'd be curious to know when their voices "break".

Mine started getting their big girl voices at about 12 weeks.

My OEGB boy has been putting everything he has into trying to crow since he was maybe 5 weeks old.

I doubt that (though it'd be nice). I think mine started sounding adult-like a little later, maybe 14 weeks. My little d'uccle bantam is almost 15 weeks, and still sounds chick-like
