and does that happen in all breeds of turkeys?

i have ronquieres turkeys and *hopefully* have a few toms and a few hens, but no ones snood is growing any different from the others?
they all havea little tiny snood. some turkeys are HUGE with thicker legs and some are smaller with thiner legs...yet all the same snoods?

The snood will grow and retract as the gobblers gobble. In full strut and on display for all the girls you will see a hanging snood. Scare or spook the same turkey and you can watch the snood retract instantly.

By 3 to 6 months of age you should see some snood growth, depending on breed. How old and what breed are your birds.
