My DD is a face painter I may have to borrow her paints.

She painted a blue stripe down her white cat the other day. Her DH kept asking why but she didn't have an answer. she just felt like it

Aww every kids dream Easter!! Well....mine anyway lol. Those pictures of the chicky in the egg are awesome, very good idea!

Purr that just reminded me....I colored my moms cat with Crayola markers when he was about 4 months old. Just a small rainbow patch but enough to make her laugh when she got home from work. I didnt have an answer either, I just thought it looked cool! I bought her it as a present so I felt I had some rights to it lol. I wanted to color my cat but he is all black, so I did the white one instead.

Hey everyone! Sorry i wasnt on BYC all day, i was out buying pvc pipes for my incubator shelving and eggs for easter!!! Anywho i know...

you all are DYEING for answers!!! ahahahhaha

ok... at first i tried to dip the chick continuously in the water. That didnt work. So i applied the dye directly to the chick and rubbed it on with a sponge. It was perfect! And alot less time consuming. Then i held the chick in one hand, laid a blow dryer on the counter, held the chick in front and rubbed the chick with a paper towel to fluff it up faster. They are so funny, they are staring at themselves in the mirror i gave them.

here are my hands... and my POOR wedding ring even got some color...EEEKKKKK
