As we are fast approaching autumnal weather just in time for Christmas, my thoughts are taking me to Ground Hog's Day, when we can all be certain to pull out our woolens and enjoy our single day of hot cocoa here in the South.
And it makes me wonder, is there a bad time to give the chickens their preventative weekly Oxine fog?
Some people talk about not fogging in cold weather, but I know that my cold weather isn't everyone's cold weather. Dampness isn't good for chickens, but sometimes when it's chilly (40s or 50s), I'm afraid it might be too damp and chilly for fogging to be safe.
What are the guidelines on this?

p.s. Of course I jest. We don't just have one day of cold weather or I wouldn't be concerned. Sometimes we have a couple, or even a few, actual weeks of cold.
