When is it really time to cull?

She just got worse and worse today. I culled her and am burning her body as I type...

I am sorry to hear the bad news. I do wonder if there is something they are walking on that hurts their feet? A chemical maybe that hurts their leg so that they cannot walk and then works it way into their bloodstream?? Or perhaps something sharp they step on and it gets infected quickly??
