When is it safe for ducklings to be mated?

Last week, my 2 adult ducks (Pekin female, khaki Campbell male) and my 4 two-month old Female ducklings finally got to spend extended time together while I watched over them. The drake would chase the ducklings now and then and keep them away from any treats, but nothing too bad. The female pekin gets along well with the ducklings, and wants to be around them.
The issue is that when they were in pool together, my drake tried to mate one of my ducklings (the runner). I immediately stopped him and separated them again.
They’re still not full grown yet, so I didn’t know if it was safe for him to try mating them. The ducklings are all different breeds and sizes (mallard, black Swedish, runner, and Rouen) if that makes a difference.
At what age is it okay?

mine (male and female) started mating at around 10 weeks. they are older now and perfectly fine. only thing to worry about would be if he favors a certain girl

Thank you to everyone who has commented with advice. It seems it would be safest to wait a couple more months before mixing them with my drake. It’s too bad because I was excited that they got along, thinking I could finally just have the whole flock together!
