Just a question for all ya'll. Did you get visited by a skinny guy, in a backwards ball cap, who was on the phone, asking a million questions about the animals in the cages? He came by us three times asking if your roo was a hen, and what a D'Uccle was. He also asked if our finches, now sold

were parrots of some kind. Just wondering if he visited any of you guys, errr,, gals

BTW, thanks to ya'll for a good swap, this was out first swap, where we had bird/critters to offer, and we had a blast. Our Pekind found a new home, and were invited for dinner, though the granddaughter loved them and wanted them for pets

. And the finches had three offers, and found a new home with a family who wanted to fingertrain them, and hatch their own flock

Good luck to them. Anyways, we went threr with 7 heartbeats, and came home with 10(including the mice who are still looking) And people wonder why i stink at math

Yeah, he seemed nice, just 100% clueless when it came to the birds.

Well your husband's "pairs only" rule didn't help

BTW they are doing well, and are currently living with my retired male, and my "horn dawg" sweetie. Love is in the air!

Oh, and the real test will be the next swap, where I'll have a free porcelin(spelling) D'Uccle, and a white Silkie pullet.

it's a little roo...and he's attacking my Giant Runts, who are twice his size. He took a show bird, and made it look like a meat bird is no time

The little guy is sweet, but if he did that to my Runt, who knows what he's do to my other roo, and rollers

So the little bugger's gotta go, besides he's the only D'Uccle i have, the other chicks are cochins, silkies, polish, and buff orps
