I have to take one then I will either email it to you or post it! Oh, and I am open to critique of my work. but be kind and remember, it is as close as i can get unless i have a model in front of me! haha

OK, i am going to try and add the pics of the pendantd here. I still have to bead them up into necklaces. I had a hard tome with the silkie, but I think the showgirl came out kinda cute!

shay, you would have to doublecheck with the genetic experts to make sure that I am correct. I did research when I bought my showgirls. if you breed 2 showgirls you get 100 per cent showgirl offspring. when you breed showgirl to silkie you get some showgirls and some silkies. the silkies do not carry the showgirl gene. there is only 1 copy of the necked neck gene from that breeding. the showgirls are born with the 1 copy, the silkies are born with zero copies so are not able to produce showgirl offspring.

I was thinking the same thing about that. But some one told me that they may carry it over, The same with the frizzles.

frizzles will not carry it over either for the same reason. if they are born smooth they do not carry the frizzle gene.

Well actully it has happened to someone that i get eggs from.
They breed frizzles, And had 2 smooth together and one was from a frizzle . and when they had babys some had come out with frizzles.

Thanx for all the feedback on the chicken jewelry! Now I will try and make the silkie not look like an old english sheepdog! i will make some white showgirls, and also some polish and whatever the heck else pops into my head! I like making the little "mutt" chickens because they are a no brainer! I will have these at the Tilton swap so everyone can see...any duck requests?? Oh and I have a nice peacock. Also, is there anyone that would prefer I just sell them as beads, or would you think a finnished necklace is better???

Why not do it as both, have beads and necklaces available. Im not going to tilton but if you have the beads available at the next swap we do that would be awesome.
I know my grand kids(girls ) are all about necklaces also.
have you tried turkeys, pheasant, game birds. pigeons?
