So I got my chicks yesterday (09Feb) (from the feed store, they are a week old) and was wondering when I can start giving them something other than "starter food"? I know they need there nutrition and such but we have alot of garden scraps that I know grown birds would love.

    Any thoughts?

I don't give treats until chicks are 4 weeks old. And then treats are yogurt and eggs not birdseed or corn given once a week or so.
