When making your own feed how do you add the cod liver oil

We are wanting to make our own feed for our chicks. We found a great recipe here on BYC. but does not explain how to incorporate the cod liver oil into the feed to insure it is mixed well. Any ideas? Thank you

I always mix it or top dress their feed at the time of serving, every time I fill the feeder I mix in the oil this keeps the feed fresher longer and will prevent mold and bug's and other things.
