Thanks y'all.
I think Jelly's age has something to do with it. The first couple of days, we were working hard to coax her to go outside 3 times a day. Now she wants to go outside every time the door opens. So i'm working on making her area a little more free of distractions, and i'm going to implement the use of a hot water bottle while she's out (just as an act of super caution) to make sure they don't get cold. I think she might do better if she just can't tell what's going on around her as well.
I go outside a lot during the day to handle chickens and whatnot, and we have a very small home, so there aren't extra rooms to put her in or anything.
I also get the feeling that Jelly is taking her cues from us to some degree, so when i go outside she wants to go outside; when i pay attention to the puppies, she wants to pay attention to the puppies.
Thanks a bunch for your input. It is enormously appreciated.
