When should I let him go?

My quail this morning Cut it’s leg but it’s not a deep cut. I don’t know what it cut it on but I separated him from the others and i will be giving in pain relief and cleaning his cut with warm salt water. I am wondering when I should left back outside?

So you have any Betadine, Vetericyn, or BluKote to apply to it? Pictures of the wound may help, but if it is not too bad, keeping it separated for a day might be good. The others may peck at any redness and make it worse.

I couldn’t get a god not blurred photo of it since the quail would stay still. But thank you for your help I will follow your advice
