I got my chickens when they were around 3 months old. To my dismay, I ended up with two roosters instead of one. Now they’re(as far as I can tell.) almost 8 months old. I believe one might be a little older than the other, he seems to be the more dominant one of the two, but even though he’s in charge they’re starting to get into more and more little fights about “who spends more time with the hens.” so to speak. My neighbor has chickens as well, and he said when I was ready to get rid of one of them he’d take it. Now I was goning to keep the one who gave me less problems, (the neighbor wants the other for freezer camp.) considering they’re only 8 months old I figure they’re not old enough to tell which one is the more aggressive. So my question is, should I just get rid of one now instead of waiting? The non dominant rooster has already tried to charge me once, so he’s probably going in the long run anyhow.
