When should I switch my ducklings over to adult food ??

Everyone has a preference of when they make the switch for different reasons. Some feed the starter/grower for as long as the feed manufacturer recommends and some make the switch sooner. For my flock, around 3 weeks is when I start mixing in flock maintenance feed and by the time they are 7-8 weeks they are 100% on flock maintenance. I don't raise meat birds and since the breed I have seems to have angel wing issues I prefer to lower the protein early. At the end of the day you just have to research and make what you feel are the best decisions for your flock.

Each feed is formulated differently; you should refer to the white tag on the bag for feeding directions.
