I have 4 ducklings, all just over 3 weeks old. I was wondering when they could start living in their outdoor duck house ( they hang out outside during the day already). The weather in Vermont right now is about 80-90 degrees during the day -oddly warm :) - and 50-60 degrees at night. They all have started getting their feathers in. I have heard a lot of conflicting info for when to put them outside for the night, so any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    Hi from another Vermonter!

I usually put them out once they hit about four weeks old. I keep a heat lamp accessible to them just in case they need it. A lot of times they don't use it at all.

    Thanks!
Where in Vermont are you from/what type of ducks do you raise? (if you don't mind me asking)

That's so funny, I'm also from central Vermont!
    Take care!
(I will definitely check out that thread)
