when should they start to lay

I have 16 21 week old BR pullets . what age should they start laying? a couple of their combs are really starting to turn red but the rest of them are still pink.

All my girls had red combs and started squatting about 2 weeks before the first eggs. They were 24 weeks at first lay. Seems like we waited forever but the eggs are sure worth the wait.

My RIR's and Black sexies started laying at 22weeks. Once it started I was getting 6-8 eggs a day out of my 8 girls.
