when the hatcherys ship chicks do they go by airplane first

was wondering if the chicks are shipped from the hatchery to there destination state by plane. then go by truck once they reach there states destination . like for instance mine are coming from ohio and will be shipped to Maine. just wondering how much time they will travel on the ground.

I can tell you mine came from Iowa to Alaska overnight. They go normally to the main PO in your area. If you have an airport in the same town, chances are pretty good it'll all be air.

I ordered from McMurray, I know they shipped on Saturday, I got a call from the main PO at 7:30 in the morning Sunday to come get my chickens
