When they come...

When my ducklings come, or IF they come, Id like to be as informed as possible.

Ok, so I want ducks that I can pet,maybe hold, ducks that will come to me when I enter the yard.I Used to have a blue swedish who was very love able

Mom and da and uncle of the duckling dont like to be handled, they are sort of wild, being rescues as they are. Mom comes and eats out of my hand sometimes, now, what should I do for a handling schedule?

Should I take away from momma and raise indoors?
SHould I just leave with momma and handle as much as possble?

I think your better off leaving them with mom, if she is friendly with you, they will learn from her.

I left my 2 batches of call ducks with their moms, and they are so friendly. They love to be right under your feet.

Mom is kind of sort of friendly. she will let me near her, but no touchie, and sometimes she eats out of my hand or tries to eat the dirt off my legs
