When to combine chicks with adult hens

Starting day two, everything went good yesterday evening when all the chickens went in to roost, the chicks went in first, then came a couple hens. All the chicks came back out until all the hens were in and roosting, the chicks then came back in, and went to roost. Staying away from the hens.
So today I'm hoping for them all to get a little more comfortable with each other.

Yep, my youngsters are the last to go to roost.
Funny they are at one end of roosts, but have been getting closer and closer to big birds and it seems the bigger birds get crunched into one end trying to stay away, tho I have not watched this closely enough to be sure that's actually what happens.

Chicks all are doing ok, the hens cornered another one, seems like they don't like the barred rock.
Chicks spend a lot of time inside the coop away from the hens. But they all sleep together on the same roost.

Yep, that's how it goes....my 10wo's are doing that.
Not sure what will happen next week when the 5wo's join the mix.
