when to cull the hens???

Hi all, I have just started getting our first eggs from our 8 hes and they are great...I love having our first birds. Now to the sad ????::
I know I will need to have the birds culled eventually, when is that? I don't want to end up with tough meat when we do it. What age is that suppose to be? two years old? Any ideas would be great.
Also, I am trying to plan for when to order my next batch of layers so we will have con't eggs. thank you...juice

Some people cull at the first molt, or after the first season of laying. It's a little too early if you ask me. I posted a thread earlier asking the same ?...
